Second-year college students crafting travel and tourism experiences
Led by professor Ms. Foteini Kyritsi, the Tourism College second-year students were required to design a half-day tour experience as part of the module Crafting Travel and Tourism Experiences from the Bachelor of Hospitality Management in collaboration with Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences.
The objective was to acquaint themselves with procedures and responsibilities of delivering a complete experience. The half day tour included a visit to the National Gallery which is devoted to art from the 14th century to the 20th century, a planned walk in the city centre focused on historical landmarks and finally ending with a light brunch at ERGON HOUSE, a spectacular marketplace for food enthusiasts.
The half day experience tour was a success and contributed to applying theoretical models to practical applications.
